Pikes Peak Arts Council

The Pikes Peak Arts Council is a non-profit organization founded in 1968 to honor, connect, and enrich local artists, working to ensure that artists are thriving in, and essential to, the Pikes Peak region. Join today!

The Pikes Peak Arts Council appreciates the time, talent, and generosity of its membership to advocate for and support the arts within the Pikes Peak Region. Opportunities for PPAC members to assist the organization in creating a thriving arts community for our region can be discovered by emailing our volunteer coordinator at:

Community Outreach

Tell the world about PPAC and local art opportunities by displaying promotional materials at your business, workplace, or classroom. Share PPAC with the artists and arts lovers in your life!

Already told everyone you know?

Come meet new people by volunteering to host the PPAC table at one of many community events. We love to invite fellow artists to the table to teach them more about what we do, and often integrate an interactive art project into our events. We're always looking for great ideas -- and the people to make them happen!

Serve on a PPAC Committee! Use your talents to help
organize fundraising and membership drives, support our event planning for the Annual Member Meeting or a quarterly Member Mixer, or assist with the annual Pikes Peak Arts Council Awards.

Serve as a Juror for Excellence in the Arts

Throughout the year, jurors attend performances and exhibitions, looking for examples of local excellence in the arts. Jurors also review nominations made by PPAC members and construct categories of nominees. Award categories include Classical and Popular Music, Film, Poetry/Spoken/Written Word, Dance, Theatre, and Visual Arts.

We are always seeking fresh eyes and perspectives! Along with getting a chance to thank and reward artists for creating, you will be assisting artists in sharing their vision with the entire community.
