Nathan Halvorson, Fine Arts Center Associate Director of Performing Arts Nathan Halvorson 's work has been seen at Lincoln Center Theatre, NY Theatre Workshop, Circle in the Square, The University of Notre Dame, Expanded Arts, The NY International Fringe Festival, The Mint Theatre, Theatreworks USA, Carousel Music Theatre, Iowa Summer Rep and many others.  He was a founding member and Artistic Director of The Key Theatre in NYC and the former Resident Director and Interim Artistic Director at The Penobscot Theatre in Bangor, Maine.  He is a proud member of Actor's Equity and The Lincoln Center Director's Lab and received his MFA in Theatre Directing from The University of Iowa.  Currently he is the Associate Director of Performing Arts and Director of Theatre Education at The Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center at Colorado College where he has directed, choreographed or performed in over 20 productions, including Reefer Madness, Guys and Dolls, 9 to 5, Fun Home and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. He has been nominated for four Henry Awards and is the recipient of the Arts in Education Award from the Pikes Peak Arts Council.

Janet Johnson, Artistic Director of Ormao Dance Compony and independent choreographer -  As the founder of the Ormao Dance Company, Ms. Johnson has brought a longed for level of professional contemporary dance to our city.  Her work has brought noted choreographers to the company and given young, emerging choreographers fertile ground to launch exciting new works.  As a choreographer, she has developed a wide repertoire of works with awards from the Pikes Peak Arts Council for Worn Thin(2012), Protest(2014) and PREPRESS(2017). After studying at the University of Wisconsin, she began dancing, teaching and choreographing in a variety of companies until founding Ormao Dance Company in 1990. Her belief in the inclusive nature of modern dance has created a company with depth of artistic expression, brilliance of technical skill, and given back to the Colorado Springs community a professional contemporary dance company they can call their own.

Sarah Groh Correa, Groh Music Founding Director - Sarah Groh Correa is a lyric soprano and studio business professional. Sarah has taught privately and sung extensively throughout the U.S. as a member and soprano soloist for the St. Joseph Community Chorus, Kansas City Choral, Colorado Springs Chorale, and Colorado Vocal Arts Ensemble. She has toured with choirs to Japan, India, England and Italy. She has designed a system for Private Voice and Group Voice Classes that informs the singer’s life by relieving stress, opening doors to self-discovery, teaching them how to sing, and walking them through the lifestyle of a musician.

Chris Medina, Director of Funky Little Theater CompanyChris Medina is the founding Artistic Director of Funky Little Theater Company, which kicks off its fifth season at the end of August. Medina is also the resident director (five years running) for Jr Woodland Players, a musical theatre program that serves the youth of Teller County. He is also a former high school teacher and coach and recieved his Bachelor's in Visual and Performing Arts from UCCS. Medina is an award winning actor and producer here in the Springs for his work with Funky Little Theater Company and the Iron Springs Chateau. Medina has dabbled in commercials and film, but his heart is definitely in theatre and education.
